About the Boothstown Bugle

Some of you may remember the Boothstown Bugle a newsletter delivered around Boothstown some years ago. When I thought of starting an on line local newspaper the name sprang to mind, what better name for a very local newspaper than the Bugle.
How often the Bugle is published will to a large extent depend on you as a reader, and also as a contributor.
I am just the mere editor putting together the bits and pieces that I am hoping to receive from you.
I want to hear about any local news, events, organisations, clubs, you name it, the bugle will shout it.
I would also like to hear from anyone who would like to write articles for the Bugle. Sorry you won't be paid because the Bugle is a free publication so the coffers are bare
I have already managed to obtain the services of Watchdog, you might remember him from the now very long extinct Leigh and District weekly News.
Watchdog would find something to get his teeth into and he also awarded a weekly Dustbin Lid award, this was a special mention to some one or some organisation whom had done something very stupid. More often than not the names had to be changed to protect Watchdog from libel action.
Maybe you know of some local issue that the Watchdog could look into, or someone who deserves a DBL award, use the contact form from the drop down menu to let me know, and I will pass the details on to him ( or is it her ) that's for me to know.
Do you know any news from local organisations or clubs? local football team results these are all the things that I will be looking for to put in the Bugle, whatever you know use the contact form and let me know
I also want to know about local tradesmen and small businesses, a free mention in the Bugle could send some work your way
